The Screen PlateRite 6600 is a CTP device capable of imaging intermediate plates larger than B2 (304 x 370mm minimum to 980 x 685mm maximum format) and has been developed to support B2+ presses supplied by Ryobi, Goss and others due onto the market.

Two models of the thermal PlateRite 6600 are available depending on a printer’s needs: the entry level PlateRite 6600E featuring 32 laser diodes and 18 plates/hour productivity; and the high-speed PlateRite 6600S featuring 64-laser diodes and capable of imaging 30 B2 plates an hour at 2,400dpi resolution. With increased flexibility in format support and even greater plate productivity, 30 plates per hour at 2400 dpi, the PlateRite 6600S is ideally suited to meet the requirements of even the most demanding printer. Together with Spekta 2, which is Screen’s hybrid FM/AM screening technique, this is a CtP package that will set standards in quality and productivity.
