Description PlateRite FX870

The Screen PlateRite FX870 is a thermal CtP system capable of imaging digital flexo plates up to 870 x 762mm and has been developed to support a wide range of flexo applications including labels, flexible packaging, corrugated, carton and security printing.

This new high-quality platesetter incorporates Screen’s proven thermal laser technology to image advanced digital plates from DuPont, Flint Group (BASF), Toray, McDermid and Asahikasei. Imaging at a choice of 2400 or 2540 dpi resolutions with screen rulings up to 200 lpi, the PlateRite FX870 produces consistently high quality plates - very competitively.

The PlateRite FX870 is compatible with Screen's specially developed packaging workflow PackStudio SE. PackStudio SE is based on Artwork Systems ArtPro software and is being integrated into Screen's established Trueflow workflow. In addition, the PlateRite FX870 can be integrated with any other workflow.
