Dot Tiff Controller - Description
Dot Tiff Controller (DTC) is a standalone system, which is able to receive 1-bit screened TIFF files from any workflow environment for output on Screen image/platesetters. It controls the incoming 1 bit Tiff files and spools them to the specific output device.
The major benefits of a DTC solution are to drive an output device from 1 Bit Tiff files from other systems than Trueflow. When driving the setter with 1-bit TIFF information directly, we can enable the optimum output speed. There are no speed delays due to recalculation of data.
