The Truepress JET 520NX AD further expands on the succces of previous NX series presses, featuring an improved maximum speed of up to 225 meters per minute and expanded five-inch printhead module that delivers unprecedented quality (up to 600 x 900 dpi resolution). The gap between printheads has also been reduced to just one-eighth of earlier SCREEN systems delivering even higher quality, more stable printing.

“Xross-over” printhead configuration for flexibility and expandability
The Truepress JET 520NX AD has a unique printhead design that efficiently handles both monochrome and full colour printing. CYM printheads can be “parked” when printing mono, to reduce ink consumption. Plus an extra printhead can be installed adjacent to the other printheads to handle MICR and other specific function inks.
Easy operation, maintenance, and layout fits your crew & space needs
The small footprint of the Truepress JET 520NX AD permits virtually unlimited space configurations to accommodate efficient positioning of unwind and rewind systems. Layouts can be arranged to suit installation space and orientation of the production line: I-shape, U-shape, L-shape or H-shape design. Maintenance can be performed without cutting paper, and print operation is performed effortlessly from its user-friendly touch panel.

Functional Printing
The Truepress JET 520NX AD’s 5th inkjet head supports variable printing using specialised functional inks. This includes magnetic ink for MICR, UV visible ink and IR absorbing ink. It secures authenticity of physical printing and adds special attributes without the need for any extra processes.
Smart Print Manufacturing
SCREEN has partnered with Solimar to offer Smart Print Manufacturing through integration of SOLitrack with EQUIOS workflow. The SOLitrack system provides excellent visualization of each job’s progress and the status of equipment. It also features a wide range of partnerships that enable it to link with the printers of various manufacturers. SCREEN’s EQUIOS solution platform delivers proven, highly reliable RIP processing, automation of predefined workflows and flexible automation with an array of postpress equipment. The combination of both systems enables the construction of an ideal workflow environment for any customer.
Scalable Configuration
A Black Enhanced high-speed monochrome option is also available, enabling printing companies to build a production system that is ideally suited to their business environment.
IPDS Controller
SCREEN now offers a fully-integrated native IPDS controller, co-developed with cross-media marketing specialist TagG Informatique. The reliable IPDS workflow and EQUIOS workflow that are based on Adobe PDF Print Engine can be used on the same platform, thus the user can flexibly switch between optimized flows according to their jobs.
