Truepress SC Ink – Breakthrough Offset Coated Paper Printing
The Truepress Jet 520HD had already set the standard for image quality and speed in production-class continuous-feed inkjet printing. Then the breakthrough Truepress SC ink introduced in 2017 further expanded its industry leading functionality with the ability to print onto offset coated paper without the need for any primers or pre-press treatments.
Without the additional water from priming, printed produced on the Truepress JET 520HD can be dried more rapidly using less energy. This also reduces production time while ensuring smudge-free, high-quality prints at faster speeds with faster turnarounds times.
With paper choices extended to standard offset-coated stocks, the need to purchase and warehouse expensive inkjet treated paper while allowing businesses combing in inkjet with offset presses to use one paper stock for all their equipment to reduce inventory and shipping expenses.
