SCREEN Europe Appoints Daniyal Ahmed as CTP Sales and Network Development Manager
SCREEN Europe has appointed Daniyal Ahmed as CTP Sales and Network Development Manager to reinforce the company’s commitment to Computer-to-Plate (CTP) technology.
Aalsmeer, the Netherlands – SCREEN Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniyal Ahmed as CTP Sales and Network Development Manager.
Daniyal joins SCREEN after over 25 years of experience spanning the telecommunications, networking, and other high-tech industries bringing extensive expertise in services sales and programme management sales strategy, developing customer solutions, and managing relationships with a diverse range of international partners.
At SCREEN Europe, he is dedicated to strengthening partner relationships, expanding market opportunities, and delivering sustainable long-term value for customers and dealer networks.
SCREEN: A New Wave of Innovation in CTP
Daniyal’s decision to join SCREEN was driven by finding an alignment with his own beliefs that success is built around quality and building strong relationships through products it delivers and the sales and technical service that supports them.
“My core belief is that people do business with people,” he explains. “That principle holds true across every culture and every market I have worked in. Technology and commercial terms matter, but trust between people is what makes a partnership succeed over the long term. I’ve found that SCREEN shares this belief, empowering both its partners and extensive dealer network with the trust and attention that ensures all parties can succeed.”
Daniyal steps into a market that is seen as steady and reactive. However, he quickly found it is far from static. As digital printing technology continues to push print quality and productivity benchmarks, offset printing’s role is shifting, not disappearing, and this change in focus is prompting a fresh wave of innovation in the technology and the applications it serves. As the world’s leader in this segment, SCREEN’s CTP technology is built to be robust, easy to maintain, and straightforward to service, with parts designed for quick replacement and product development that flows directly from user feedback.
“These are very flexible and highly efficient machines,” Daniyal notes. “That combination allows a printing business to diversify and specialise simultaneously, serving high-volume work and high-value applications from the same platform.”
A Long-Term Commitment to Offset
While digital inkjet is playing an increasingly important role in the future of printing, offset retains a firm place in the market, and SCREEN remains fully committed to supporting the businesses that rely on it through best-in-class CTP products and the technical service.
Central to Daniyal’s role is the further activation of SCREEN’s CTP dealer network. His intention is to grow the technical and software skills of dealers across the region, bringing them closer to the machines through continuous training and deeper engagement with the software side of the technology.
“You can expect your SCREEN CTP technology to be serviced and supported well into the future,” Daniyal concludes. “That commitment to this market and this technology is something I want every one of our dealers and customers to feel with complete confidence.”
