Screen adds to Finnish sales network with appointment of Signcom

Screen has expanded its sales network in Finland with the appointment of Signcom as a reseller for the Truepress Jet W3200UVII wide-format UV printer.

Based in Helsinki, Signcom opened for business relatively recently, in September 2011, but has quickly established a large installed base of customers, mostly in the entry-level market sector.  The addition of the higher-specification Screen Truepress Jet W3200UVII represents a significant extension of the company’s wide-format portfolio.

Samuli Vuorenhala, CEO of Signcom, describes the Screen Truepress Jet W3200UVII as “a real production printer packed with high-end technology.  As a true flatbed system with the ability to add a true 3.2m wide industrial roll system, it’s a perfect addition to our current range because it provides customers with a logical next step up, to higher productivity with a consistent high quality.

“A growing trend in the Finnish market currently is the growth in high-margin multi-layer applications.  We are confident this will translate into a ready market for the Truepress Jet.  With a maximum output speed of up to 230 sqm/hr, it’s certainly fast enough, and the multilayer option, which allows up to eight layers to be merged, is exactly what the market needs.  Add to that automated features such as head alignment technology, automated non-purge cleaning, and advanced nozzle-mapping and the Truepress Jet W3200UVII is a very attractive proposition.  We’re delighted to be selling it.”

In its standard specification the Truepress Jet W3200UVII prints four colours, but can be upgraded to six colours.  The printer can also be upgraded to white ink on-site, providing improved support for transparent and colour media. It is also equipped with lay pins for accurate and repeatable substrate registration and a zoned vacuum bed to reduce masking and increase productivity. Ultimately this Truepress Jet delivers high-speed, true-quality printing making it ideal for both quick turnaround or high-volume jobs.

“We are proud to welcome Signcom to the Screen team,” says Martijn Van Den Broek, Screen Europe Product Manager, Wide Format.  “This is a young, ambitious company eager to make its mark in the wide-format market in Finland, but the senior management has a wealth of experience in the growing mid-range market.  Signcom’s strong base of installations proves they have what it takes to succeed, and we look forward to a long and profitable relationship between our two companies.”
