Leading Russian distributor enters high-speed inkjet sector for first time
Screen is pleased to announce that it has appointed the SIKO Group as reseller in Russia and the CIS for the Screen Truepress Jet520 continuous inkjet press range.
Based in Moscow and Kiev, SIKO is one of the region’s leading graphic arts suppliers, selling and supporting an extensive range of solutions for the bookbinding and packaging sectors, and acts as distributors for companies such as MBO Sigloch and Kolbus.
Adding the Screen Truepress Jet520 is an important strategic move for SIKO, marking the company’s entry into high-speed continuous inkjet. Says SIKO’s Marketing Director Maxim Novak: “Our aim is to provide every sector we supply with the most complete range of solutions possible and now is the right time for us to go to market with the best colour and mono solution we can find. After a thorough search we decided that the Screen Truepress Jet520 range is exactly right.”
The Truepress Jet520 is the world’s most successful high-speed, single-pass colour inkjet printer and is ideal for on-demand production of books, direct mail, newspapers and transactional products. Available in a choice of models and configurations, the press prints on rolls of inkjet paper, standard paper and uncoated paper up to 520mm wide. Its top printing speed of 220 metres per minute enables fast turnarounds and efficient production of high print volumes.
“Screen welcomes SIKO to our network of specialist resellers,” says Frans Kops, Screen GP. “The company provides a high level of expertise, training and support which makes them an ideal partner to help strengthen Screen’s presence within Russia and CIS.”
